This award winning architectural project is located on the West coast of Andros. The dwellings are modern and rigorous and blend beautifully into the Cycladic landscape, making the most of the spectacular views overlooking the sea. The design bears clear lines and is organically entwined in the island’s natural landscape. The aim of the project is to fully integrate the construction within the surrounding area, utilizing the plot’s seamless view and location to create open spaces overlooking the sea. These summer homes are energy efficient with geothermal heating and a construction that minimizes the need for heating or cooling all year round. Covered with ‘green’ roofs, they blend beautifully into the natural Cycladic landscape.
Two villas are available: the first one consists of a living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms with sea views, a subterranean master bedroom and an independent guesthouse on a lower level. A stairway links organically the residence to an existing natural stone cave.
The second one consists of a living /dining room, kitchen, bathroom, one bedroom with sea view and two subterranean “en-suite” bedrooms, accessible through an interior atrium. This house also has an independent guesthouse on a lower level. Both houses have a swimming pool.
